table turns in denver

tonight i went to a fireside that was given by the BYUI internship expedition. it was just what i needed. i was reminded of so many things. first off.... that of being in college. it was funny i recognized a couple of familiar faces. i wasn't friends with these people, but i had seen then around campus or at friends' apartments. but i really do miss college. i talked to one girl who was a communications major. it was so cool to hear familiar names and so forth

the speaker was a former mission president and his wife. it was so good to be back in that environment again. the sister, had mentioned that she felt that it was a zone conference, with all the young men and sisters in the audience. as i sat that are received counsel about my future (careers and big decisions), i really came to realize everything that i have learned and experienced in the last 5 years has really made me who i am. i am so grateful for that. i talked to girls that were there, and i was just shocked with there level of... social abilities (not for the good).

there is so much in store for each of us. and i was reminded by this tonight. it was so good to be back in this situation. not to mention i do have a lot still ahead of me.. ie... singles ward, round 2. but this has been a good move!
