well this was my first day back to work... in almost two years! i guess that means my hiatus is over!
today i started my internship at FACES. it is a small non-profit agency. it was really great to have something to do, a purpose to wake up, and a drive to work.
the agency is small but has a great purpose. i think that i'll be able to learn a lot about pr as well as the industry of non-profit and how to get an agency's name out in to community.
along with all the new 'work' feelings...it was another one of those moments where i reflected a lot (on my drive home). it is so interesting to me because part of me almost feels like i betraying something. i think more than anything betraying my mission. i mean these last several month, i've been on like a vacation, thinking maybe i'll return. but now i am MOVING ON. i know it is the right thing to do, i know that i must do so, but that doesn't stop my feelings, i guess.
so here i am, continuing to grow up...i guess you could say. i am taking on the next step of life. it is a good one, and KNOW that right now, this is where i am supposed to be!
tomorrow i'll post a picture .. i have great view of downtown denver from my office! life is good!
