my pink cadillac

working at a bank, i get to interact with all sorts of people. it is actually one of my favorite parts about my day. just talking to people, finding out their story! i love it! we all have our own stories, no?

last week, i had this customer come and just started shooting off all these really nice compliments! she suckered me in to her plan. she made me feel so very special by telling me she wanted me to be a model for her? WHO ME?? poster child for the fat kids? of course i was in! any way to promote the fat kids! haha.

so of course she kinda fooled me. i wasn't being a model, she even made me put on all the make-up. but i did get a couple miniature samples of some products.

well, again today, i had another customer at work, ask me about this marykay stuff.....of course i told her that i had a 'friend' already who had talked to me about it and all. (she didn't use the model line, she had not hope!)

i got thinking, how come people are always asking me about makeup and wanting to 'help me'? are they trying to give me a hint? do i really need a lot of help? i mean i don't wear a lot, but i wear sufficient, i thought at least.

but come to find out i think there is a huge push for marykay products, cause my friend in utah too was invited to a party to receive a facial, and i am sure miniature samples! oh, saleswoman. i guess what a woman would do to get free product!

don't get me wrong, i loved the microdermosion face cleanser thing..or whatever its called haha. it was so nice. i could feel such a difference before and after. but i don't think i'll be buying nor selling any marykay anytime soon. bye bye pink cadi.
