but we spend the entire day at the pool. how relaxing, that is for sure. i will have to say that i am a little red. i usually only tan the side that everyone sees. but i realized that i should even everything out. especially before winter comes. but, as a result of trying to even out, i burnt my back pretty bad. so far i am not in too much pain, but it is warm. a chipotle lunch, the new whitney houston cd, an incredibly comfortabl lawn chair (it had a cushion), it was the perfect time at the pool.
we rushed home, after several hours at the pool, to get to the theaters in time to watch all about steve. the movie, was ok. it was kinda werid. i don't know why sandra bullock always has to play the incredibly annoying girls. but i will say the ending was good! that made up for it! there were a couple of lines that i really liked. i wish i could find them online.
ok, and the best way to end the night.. we had a family bbq (it was family day). we sat outside ate hotdogs, brawts, and hamburgers, and just laughed and talked. it was so nice. and my favorite part of the night..... s'mores! i was so so excited. gathering around the fire, and eating. it was so so nice. i just smiled. i had this grin.
days off are nice. time to relax, think, and really start to figure things out, not to mention laughter and a good tan. life is good!!
wow! I'm jealous a day at the pool! While you were sunbathing we were having a TON of rain.. downpours... and last night a tornado touched down in a small town east of us... crazy! That never happens here. I guess the rain had to make up for the sunny summer we had.. hardly any rain all summer. Have fun back at work! Oh and that s'more looks delicious I want one now.. just a little less black. ;-)
