going and coming

my sunday just flew by. but as usual it was so great.

i started the morning with a farewell. i love seeing these young boys go off to serve a mission. i know what an amazing experience they will have, and how their lives will change. i just get so excited!

and then this afternoon --- i was able to go to a homecoming. this elder served in rosario, which makes it even sweeter. just as much as sending elders out on the mission, seeing the come home is just as emotional if not more.

as i was driving home with a friend, i realized that these homecomings are so emotional, cause i know exactly how they are feeling as they go through the coming home checklist. coming home was/is not easy! but to know of the person you have become while serving the lord, makes it all worth it!

then, to top it all off -- i love meeting people. it brings me so much joy to meet people, and hear their stories. it may be prideful of me, but i think i am good at talking to people, and i really really love it!

i was able to make some new friends, and more than anything, i hope i was able to bring a smile to one or two people's face.

life is so good -- as many times as i feel like i just pushed down on my butt, i have great weekends like this, that remind me that life IS good!
