sometimes it feels like life can't get any better!i don't know if it is normal, or i am just lucky, but it seems to be that all the sisters in my mission are close! whether it is with me, or with one another. it makes me so happy! i am so grateful for the hutchisons and them bringing us together!
whether they have been my mission companion or if they are just a fellow missionary from argentina, i would do anything for any of these girls! now of course there were a bunch that weren't able to come to the gathering, but oh how we thought about them.
i wonder why we are so close. many friends who also have served missions, never seem to be this close with their mission (or maybe i am just blinded to it...) but i really feel that we are FRIENDS... not just mission acquaintances. even with some of the elders.
at church today, i got thinking, why am i always on cloud nine when i'm around these great people. and it all came to me (thanks to a good sacrament meeting talk) that during the mission, was one of the happiest times of my life. i was in the Lord's work, i wasn't worried about ME. i was serving and preaching the gospel.
and after talking to alex, my brother, we came to the conclusion that it is also the time in my life that i was the best me. these people saw what i could be, what i should be! and that is why being around these people makes me so happy!
I love your post. Your happiness is contagious. I'm so happy that your mission has had profound effects in your life and that you were able to make the best of friends there!
