a day that is very much commercialized, but a day that can be a great day for a family. happy mother's day to mom! it was an interesting day...but for a moment we could smile and laugh.
and the best part of the day, no offense mom, is that we got to talk to alex! it was so so good to see and hear him! we were able to do a web cam chat (thanks to gchat), and so we got to not only talk to him, but see him. we also were able to meet several other elders. (e' perez, e'cruz, and e' walker).
what a great day to be able to laugh and just have the brief moment to smile and remember why we have certain people in our life. we are not perfect people, and we continuously need to work at becoming better. but i think that is why we have those certain people in our lives, so that we can become.

ps...we tried to tell alex that drew died his hair and grew it out. hey it could be a good look for him!
