dear caitlin and sean

dear caitlin and sean,

my two newest married friends. i am truly so thrilled for you two, and am so grateful to have been able to be there and partake of this great day.

not going to lie, but i also need to thank you for having a reason for all of us friends to get together.

as i had that great opportunity to see you two be married for time and all eternity, it got me thinking, "talise, what are you doing with your life to get those blessings that sean and caitlin get?" i kinda laugh and giggle at myself... but i really am so happy for you! you two and ALL my married friends have really set such an amazing example of what someday i hope to partake in.

with that said, i did find myself around the table at the reception as the ONLY one without a date on my side, (not to mention the weekend before i found myself at another reception fully engrossed in a wedding video, to look around and find myself with 6 girls under the age of 10, watching this video). but lots of good memories were made, laughter , and pictures. oh, and don't forget the glass of lemonade that some guy threw at my leg. even though i was the single one, i think i had the most fun!

for those who really know me, i love weddings! i love the decorations, the dresses, the details, but most importantly i love weddings because of what it means. two people, who are so madly in love with each other, and want to spend the rest of eternity, laughing, smiling, crying, and growing together.

i share the joy seeing each of my friends so happy. congrats and thanks for the fun weekend
