family ward, institute building, 3 singles wards, and a bbq

what a sunday. i haven't run around like that since i was 19 in a minnesota singles wards -- trying to meet all the seller boys! haha

well this was another weekend of looking for apartments -- and now we've added i teh factor of the ward. sunday we checked it all out. it was exhausting. but let me say i walked away with some great stories.

i was able to go see kiirsten and kurt -- an old roommate and friend, bless there lil' boy! what a strong strong couple and to see their family grow. it just makes me happy! but as we sat in their meeting! HAHA --- the stories begin.

it started with the strong aroma of a garden around me - or the perfume of some woman. then a lady got up to the podium, and she wore this flashing flag pin. a bit distracting, but very funny. and then to top the meeting off -- the gentleman was so passionate about how he watched and saw MARIAH CAREY in provo over the weekend at an amazing concert, at the stadium of fire. she sang beautiful songs such as -- jesus take the wheel, etc....

pretty sure he was talking about Carrie Underwood.

first singles ward i waked into --- this is what i saw. enough said. no explanation needed.

then the other singles wards brought there own set of giggles with people who get up and feel like they have to thank and testify of everything they have EVER learned in their entire life. i know this, and this, and i know this from this seminary teacher, and this from my young womens leader. so on so forth.

but also this weekend --- my brothers, some friends, and i had a little bbq. it was so fun. alex brought his 15 dollar grill -- and we had shish kabobs! it turned out really good! and just the way i love spending the fourth of july weekend, and all american baseball game and fireworks. carrie even caught a tshirt at the game. that never happens to me or anyone i am with! haha

it was a crazy weekend, crazy sunday. but it was great all together.
