going to the gym tells so much

this last week i switched gyms. naturally, you'd think a gym goer is a gym goer -- what difference can there be between one gym to another. but much to my surprise, there is a lot of difference!

amongst the difference, i found myself drawing to many conclusions. as i ran, i listened to my playlist, and just observed. this really is just me creating stories about these people, that i have never met, and more than likely will never meet. but  bit facinating and i wonder how much could be true.

as i watched these people, i observed how they worked out, what they did while they worked out, how and if they interacted with other people -- even down to what they were wearing.

right of the bat, the fact that they were at the gym said they are either motivated people, who are also opportunisist -- trying to create something of them selves. these people, maybe the older generations, on the not so fit side, could be considered obedient people -- having been advised by their physician to get into shape.

i then observed this young man -- definitely an upcoming successful man if not already. he wore his michael jordan shoes (in style and knows whats good), and very modest work out clothes. as he lifted weights -- wasn't playing macho man, he read money magazine. Translation: a guy serious about his career, also is very conscious abotu staying active. He doesn't need to be any type of triathalon participant, but enough to keep is life balanced. He wasn't at the gym to talk or pick up on girl, but rather to get the job done, and move on to the next thing on his agenda. he also, very simply could be content with his life as is -- and just plans to continue on the same path.

observation two: another guy --- there with his girl friend. they very much so did there separate things, but she would check in with him every once in a while. but it was only for questions about -- what i assume were the post-gym plans. they would then go their separate ways to continue their weight lifting. the one thing that caught my eye with him -- was his tatoo. it was a simple captain america star with the two lines on either side. really simple tattoo -- but trying to be manly. translation: this guy is a man's man -- but one who is very cautious, one who used to be a partier, but has had a girl change him. he know is cautious, trying to 'grow up' or take the next stage.

i could keep going on and on, but guess really the conclusion of this all is that each person has a story. i am so intrigued by that. i love the stories that each person has, cause i really make them who they are. or ---i'm just really creepy (creepiness isn't my intention).
