letters with meaning

getting letters i the mail NEVER gets old. but it is even better when its from your little brother whose on a mission.

my little brother never ceases to teach and counsel me. and he always does in a way that i don't know if he intends to impact me -- but it always does in the moment i need it the most. for those who you know my brother, you'll know how appropriate it is that he counsels me with a line from a rapper.

"behind ever successful man, there is a group of haters; so go ahead and hate on this."

his advice the followed, let people hate --- cause on the other side there will always be someone who will appreciate you.  i don't know if it is the time in my life, or the situations that i am in --- but i am in a position that, in the words of drew, i have haters. it hurts a lot! to know someone doesn't like me.. for whatever i did, or whatever my imperfections are.

but just as i was counseled -- let them! let them hate, cause eventually there will be someone who DOES care about me, who appreciates me. and that is what is important.
