productive week

i always look at blogs with projects like this-- here i am!

my grandma moved -- and so i got this piece of furniture from her. but -- yellow wood wasn't my cup of tea.

i bought a power sander. and oh did i feel so empowered. can you tell my the smile on my face -- and the fact that i had to take a picture of myself. $19.99

because of my crazy schedule i worked in the morning -- by the time i got home, it was dark. didn't stop me. and my painting outfit -- so hott!

bought paint from the ever so helpful home depot. ruth helped me. i got a small hand brush, foam roller, and a gallon of espresso bean paint. $52.36

after three coats of espresso bean-- i finished. it looks so good. i moved it in my room, decorated it. not going to lie, i am proud of myself. $ my pride.
