so i am not one to do the 5am shopping, but this girl never passes up a shopping deal. so i did eventually make it out to the stores.
as i was at tai pan trading, i didn't end up buying anything, but i sure got a lot of entertainment. for those of you that aren't familiar with tai pan trading, it is essentially a home decor store.
to my surprise, i found a lot of husbands shopping with their wives. but even more entertaining, is that i'd see a wife pick something up, fall in love with it, and then turn to her husband for approval to put it in the cart: "isn't this so cute".
sign of a good man -- his response " oh yah, that is nice." then quickly followed by, " how much is it?"
oh, how i have so much respect for these men to be shopping with their wives. as i have been informed by my married friends, sometimes the husband just wants to be with his wife. (awww, sigh).
i just really loved seeing the reality of marriage.
