mocktail party

in a singles ward, you can think of anything and make it into an activity! last sunday, there was an announcement made for a mocktail party. yes, that is a cocktail party, but mormon style. ok, so i was thinking, cool an excuse for people to get together and all. but then i came to realize, they were going big or going home. this was a for real MOCKTAIL party! like you were supposed to dress up, modestly for the mocktail party and all.

never being to a cocktail party before, i didn't really know what i was supposed to do, wear, etc. but i was informed that i do need to dress up. i was such in a delima, i didn't know what to wear. so i found this dress, that i acutally really love, and becky did my hair up, so it was pretty and yah. it turned out to be fun to dress up!

so of course we had our mocktails (becky made sure it wasn't spiked), out cheese squared, chocolate fondue, and pb&j hordourves. it was really humorous! we talked and met a few people. not to mention, getting into singles wards, is hard, getting into a group of friends or what not. but it was fun, we made it fun.

then we went out to show off our hott looks, and went to red robin! so classy, no? haha and then of course we had to do a photo shoot! haha.

it was nice to get out, with some people, new friends and old. mocktails parties do bring people together. and not to mention the memories, of this grand event and the people we saw and met!
