well i've been home for over a month and a half! time is just flying and i can't believe it! where does time go? what have i been doing with my days
some may say that i just sit around all day long and just watch tv, drink hot chocolate, and eat bon bons with an occasional excursion to mcdonalds or something. but to my surprise, i have been able to fill my days with actual things to do, and feel some what productive. now there are definitely better days than others. but i have also been graced by the presence of a couple of friends.
so what has talise been up to this last month and a half?
- i have definitely caught up on the movie scene (ie: august rush, emma, mamma mia, hairspray, the visitor, some movie about bees.) suggestions are still being taken.
- caught myself up with the office, grey's anatomy, and brothers and sisters. my three 'shows'. we all know we have our 'shows'
- re-discovered minnesota with the visits of nick and terra as well as joe, analee, and addisyn
- hung out with a lot of married friends. it isn't as bad as it is all made out to be
- timberwolves game
- attended my first singles ward activity post mission
- began the job hunt
- fielded the question 'so what is next in your life' about 500 million times
- joined a gym again
- got new pair of glasses
- attempted to update my wardrobe
- eaten chipotle a suffient amount of times
- attended a highschool basketball game and swim meet
- made personalized thank you cards
- sent packages out to my favorite missionaries
oh there is so much ahead of me! reality begins to settle in more and more each day! how lucky can a girl get!
but i will say this, it has been incredibly fun catching up with old friends, from high school, college, and the mission. one really comes to realize what true friends they have when you can pick up right where you left off after a year and a half with out seeing each other. i really do love all my friends!
Talise!! Way to go! The blog looks way cute! We had a blast with you, I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more of your company, but I'm afraid if we would have stayed any longer we might have broken another car... sorry ;-)Good luck on whats to come and I know the Lord will bless you and help you decide whats best to do next and where to go.
