simple things of life

i'm not sure if anyone even ever reads posts without pictures, or if people really DO read the actual posts... well i hope so. if not its ok i like to write my story out anyways. ha i was cleaning my room at my parents house, some things never change, and i came across a stack of letters. some card, some LETTERS. one page or 5 pages. i am taken back to a time in my life as i read each one of the letters. handwritten letters, mean so SO much to me. One card i found, read only five words "will you be my bridesmaid?" another letter was from an old mission companion, another from a friend discussing the happenings of life. its almost as if i am taken to a different realm when i read these letters. i love them! i think when i receive a letter -- a REAL letter, it reminds me how great of friends i have. someone took enough time to sit down and write my name on the paper -- and write me a note. i've received thank you notes, and even those mean the WORLD to me! personalized words -- will forever got so much farther than a fb message/post, a text message or a snapchat. letters and notes just make my day. they can change a bad day to great, and hard moment in life to something so much more bearable. take a moment out of your life, write a friend a little note, a little letter. not matter how short or long (not going to lie, long are SO SO much better), and i promise you it WILL make a difference in that person's day!
