dear dubuque

dear dubuque,

who would have known that iowa could have been so entertaining-ly fun.

seven of us friends rented a minivan and drove down to visit a friend. it may have been a QUICK trip, but it was worth every moment

i learned something important on my way to and from, and while in dubuque. friends mean a lot to me. ok so maybe this is something i have known about myself for a long time. but experiences/trips like this, remind me of my deep loyalty and care for friends.

multiple times i found all 7 of us, people are VERY different from one another, just laughing together. one of my most favorite sounds in the world. hearty laughter. you really do gain a bond with others when you spend 24 hours straight with them.

friends mean so much to me! i am glad to have those friends in my life. i know each one of them serves a purpose in my life.

dubuque, you are small and quaint, but we had so much fun, and of course in 24 hours, tons of memories were made!
