food, my specialty

now that i am on my own, i am reminded how much i really do enjoy cooking! if i want to eat, or if i want to eat something good, i am the one that is going to be responsible for that!

so today was a great example of how good food can be created! for lunch, we worked with what we had, and made hot dog sandwiches. an inspiration from weinerschnitzel.
i got a video of carrie taking the first bite out of our creation, and cause i can, i'm posting! haha

and then tonight, a great dinner. I MADE A BRISKET! you all should be very impressed with me! the picture may not do justice, but i was so impressed. i knew when i walked into the apartment after church, and the aroma wreaked of success!

don't doubt my skills. i love food! eating and preparing it. i think i did pretty well today! from one spectrum of the food preparation to the other.
