it had been a long time since i had done this, and thanks to groupon, we made it happen. we went to the a classic minnesotan getaway - wisconsin dells.
i remember as a younger girl, sleepovers would consist of chocolate, cookies, a little shopping the best chick flick, boy talk -- who do you like, i think he likes you talk, lots of giggling and no sleep.
although somethings have changed -- a lot of things haven't changed.
we laughed a TON -- we seemed to find some good food places, and of course we found the outlet malls and found some great finds. and ironically -- we had no girl talk. we talked about our heritage, the gospel, we rocked out to some great mariah carey songs, well official girl talk, but its funny cause in all of our own ways i found one common thread. we all, someday, want someone to be by out side.
ok -- that sounds kinda funny, but i hope that my point was made. we are all girls -- no matter if we are single, crushing on someone, 'it's complicated'. we all hope and some day want our 'dreams' to come true. its nice not to have to gush about it all -- but to know that i'm not alone.
