dear singles ward

dear singles wards,
where do you even begin with this? there is such so much to say about you.

i feel that this is such a tricky concept, cause you go to singles wards to be uplifted, to get spiritual rejuvenated, but in reality there is this underlying purpose... to find that guy (or girl).

oh the complexities. rumors of boy 'x' dating girl 'a', and the fact that it is a bit of a scandal cause then that means that boy 'x' no longer is on the market. so then as you see these two with each other, but not showing affection, you just wonder --- rumor or truth, with possible hope that it is a rumor, and that there i still might be a chance with boy 'x'.

situation b of singles ward, boy 'z' and girl 'c', new and young to the ward. both interested, and so girl 'g' and girl 'h' help this young couple for lack of better words, hook it up. boy 'z' ask for girl 'c' number, and it is deemed a success. even though girl 'g' and girl 'h' find the matchmaking fun, but are deep down, just envious.

and then our last scenario, boy 'w' and girl 'j'. where girl 'j' thought boy 'w' was taken, therefore girl 'j' is relaxed, thoughtless, and friendly; if boy 'w' wasn't taken, it probably would be considered flirting. come to find out, girl 'j' was misinformed, and really, boy 'w' is NOT dating anyone. so now what does this mean....there is suddenly reason to go to ward activities, and someone to look out for.

ok, so in reality, singles wards (oh what a culture) may be considered a drama, a romantic comedy, or maybe just pure entertainment.

one day (hopefully) the plot of the story, the adventure, will change and new story will begin. one day. but till then, i guess just embrace it all right?

love,
ta (girl "......")

hope you aren't confused with all the boy "a" and girl 'b' talk.

  1. "Girl A,J,C,H", I love you! I have been one of all of the girls you describe. Luckily these scenarios will all end when you finally settle down with "Boy ?" Who ever he is, he is lucky!
